Natural Disasters / Birth Pains

what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

4And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

False Christs

5For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.  6And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.  7For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.  8All these are the beginning of sorrows.

Why do we need to know the prophecies above?

The lesson of the Fig Tree

(Mark 13:28-31Luke 21:29-33)

32Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:  33So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.  34Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.  35Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

So Israel is back in the Homeland (Kind of a big deal people).  Then Jesus tells us to look for these things.  And he calls them birth pains.

Now I’ve never had a baby, but maybe you mothers could help me out here.  Birth pains?  Don’t those get easier, lighter in intensity to where you hardly notice?

Well maybe with some drugs.

But I’m gonna go out on a limb here and guess that the birth contractions become more frequent and more painful in intensity.

Well Jesus tells so will these things…  earthquakes, famine, pestilence, etc.

And when you see these things gaining in intensity, know that the summer is near.

For all you climate change and global warming people out there..  sorry…  You’re wrong.  It’s Birth Pains as predicted in the Bible.

But hey here is a great and awesome thought guys.  Birth pains…  The woman goes through a lot of pain, but at the end there is life born.

I just want to point out Jesus calls these birth pains.  And there will be pain.  But at the end… there is eternal life.   the end goal is going to be a new earth.  God is going to recreate everything – He’s starting with man first this time.  We can call Him Lord now, and we can be adopted into His family through Jesus Christ.

Cause that’s what the whole point of the story.  God’s creating a family.  For those who Love Him and are obedient now, there is eternal life on the flip side.  Isn’t that awesome?  And you get to live with Jesus for eternity.

Tell me that’s not the best.

But hey, for all you nay sayers out there.  If you don’t want to live with God, there is a place prepared for you.  It’s a place so horrible, it was not meant for man.  It’s meant for the devil and His Angels.  But men will go there if they choose to.  It’s a place with all of God removed.  So don’t worry.  God won’t force you to live with Him or obey His rules.

But anyway, I just noticed you can’t turn on the news without hearing of some natural disaster.  So I thought we better see what Jesus says about that.

Hope this page helps.
