God is a Matchmaker.

That would have been valuable information twenty years ago. Now that I’m 40, single, and barren. LOL. I thought I was being single because the Lord wanted me to be to serve Him. But here God’s all like… I said be fruitful and multiply.

Kick in the teeth. That’s what that is. LOL.

The Lord has brought this aspect of Himself to me this year, and it has become such a favorite subject of mine, I decided to give it its own page.

I don’t want to say too much here in the intro, because I want you to watch the videos.

Well that and because I’m single. I have absolutely no knowledge in the relationship department :). hahaha.

But from a “single” point of view, I love these videos. I love learning that God has an order. That He made women for a certain role and men for a certain role. In society today, being single I am expected to basically do the woman’s role in my life AND the man’s role. And I know there are a lot of women out there who say we don’t need a man and all that, but I say Bull crap to that people. It sucks being alone and having to figure everything out on your own.

And it really sucks trying to fill a role you were never made to do. For example construction work, home repairs, etc.. It screams against my senses and I’m like… “I don’t know how to do these Vile things and I wouldn’t want to… ” LOL.

Hahaha, I don’t care what you say, that line in Overboard is funny and if you don’t like the first Overboard, we can’t be friends. I’m just saying :).

Anyway, relationships are so important to the Lord, He started the world with a marriage and He’s going to end it with a marriage. Marriage is so important to Him, He did not leave it up to us to decide what we will and will not do when it comes to marriage. He told us the purpose, He gave us the roles of each partner, and He gave us the instruction book.

Oh and He also gave us curses and consequences if we choose to do it our own way. Cursed is the man that trusts in man, lean not on your own understanding, etc, etc.

But again, I’m not preaching. Seriously, who knew barrenness was a curse? Well okay, it’s all over the Bible. But who knew that applied to me! Here I thought I was “special” and meant to do great things for the Lord. And the whole time the Lord was like, I desire that women under 60 marry, bear children, manage the house otherwise they will be gossips and busybodies.

I’m a gossip and a busybody. Doh! Again, this all would have been valuable information two decades ago. I’m just saying. LOL.
